My word of 2023: Allow.
Allow (verb): give someone permission to do something; give the necessary time or opportunity for; to let in.
This year I learned about allowing. I mean really letting go of resistance and allowing what was meant to be unfold.
I allowed myself to be imperfect, to try and fail, to try and succeed, to be loud and bold, to be quiet and rest. I allowed help and support from friends near and far. I allowed myself to pivot and change and let go of what ‘should be’ and allow ‘what is.’ I allowed myself to see what I am capable of and go after my dreams.
As I reflect on 2023, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for all that has come to fruition this year.
If someone had told me this time last year, that in twelve months I would be an independent business owner building a consulting practice, I don’t know if I would have believed them…but a lot can happen in a year!

Improved my client’s new-customer intake process, reducing his manual customer touchpoints by 60%, saving him valuable time bringing on new customers
Led a virtual Strategic Planning and SWOT Analysis Workshop for another client, helping them to identify their biggest opportunities for growth in 2024 and turn them into tangible action steps
Launched my first Workshop Series for 2024: The Anti-New Year’s Resolution Workshop (more details below)
